Logline:
Following a major attack on British soil, a politician discovers that the only way of saving his country is by killing the man standing in front of him.
Blurb:
What if you had to kill a person to save the world?
Four days ago, Jasper Slater was elected to parliament and appointed as Deputy Prime Minister for Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Today, he is in a concrete bunker surrounded by military personnel. The worst has happened – a major attack on British soil, right at the heart of government. Everyone is dead. Jasper is suddenly in charge.
And another attack is imminent.
With an enemy prepared to do anything to destroy the country he loves, Jasper makes the unthinkable decision: launch Britain’s nuclear weapons before it’s too late.
There’s just one problem.
For Jasper to launch the missiles he needs the nuclear codes. And they are currently buried approximately two inches into the chest of Corporal Carter, a volunteer in the British Army, and a walking nuclear deterrent.
Now Jasper has to decide how many lives he is willing to sacrifice to save the country. Including the first one.
