Laura Linga is the Communications & PR Manager for the International Film Festival The Hague (IFFH), where she guides the festival’s public image and drives strategic partnerships. Laura’s journey with IFFH began on the ground as a dedicated volunteer host and interviewer during the 7th edition, giving her a deep, personal understanding of the festival’s mission and creative heart. Now in a leadership role, she is committed to securing IFFH’s growth and elevating its recognition across the Netherlands. A dynamic global communicator and professional storyteller with five years of experience, Laura specialises in strategic communication and media advocacy. Her work is rooted in the belief that powerful narratives and empathy are essential for driving positive social change. Based in The Hague, Laura has built strong community ties. She currently leverages her local expertise as a Communications Associate and Community Liaison for Volunteer The Hague / PEP Den Haag. She is a familiar voice as the co-host of Den Haag FM’s Dutchbuzz radio program and the host of the “Volunteer The Hague Talks” podcast. For the 8th edition, Laura focuses on two key areas: leveraging her media connections to increase nationwide recognition for IFFH and driving strategic sponsorship campaigns to secure the festival’s long-term financial viability.
