Originally from the Philippines, Laura studied Journalism and International Relations and is a passionate traveller with a deep curiosity for international and cultural understanding. She has a keen eye for unique aesthetics, especially when it comes to art, architecture, and photography.

As a writer and English tutor, Laura is committed to fostering social understanding. She volunteers her time as a writer for Discover Philippines on Substack, as a radio host for DutchBuzZ at Den Haag FM, and as the Community Liaison of Volunteer The Hague.

While she may not have a background in filmmaking, her love for films is what brought her to the festival. Laura is eager to get a “behind the scenes” look at all the hard work that goes into this event and help make it a success!
